William Franklin "Frank" Trimble, known as "Big Bear," to his family and friends, age 77 of Springfield, Arkansas passed from this life on Friday, July 22nd, 2022, at his home. He was born on November 3rd, 1944, in Dayton, Ohio to Stoney and Fannie Cornett Trimble. He married the love of his life, Karilyn Kendall on August 23rd, 1963.
Frank worked as a salesman for Threads USA for many years. After retirement he went to work for Horseshoe Casino. He was an avid poker player, and many happy hours were spent sitting around the table with his many poker playing friends. He enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and Atlantic City. He loved spending time with his family, and he loved them with everything he had.
Survivors include his wife of almost 59 years, Karilyn Kendall Trimble of the home; one daughter, Beth Ann Ragland and husband Patrick of Springfield, Arkansas; grandchildren, Kayleigh Springer and husband Corey of Little Rock, Arkansas and Dylan Ragland and wife Whitney of Conway, Arkansas; one great-grandchild, Ava Raine Springer; one sister, Donna DeWeese and husband Mike of Troy, Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends who will also mourn his passing.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Stoney and Fannie Trimble of Cozahome, Arkansas, and sister, Joyce Anna Curry of Vandalia, Ohio.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, August 13th, 2022 at Fish Lake Lodge, 412 Fishlake Road, Atkins, Arkansas 72823. Traveling west on I-40, take exit 101 at Blackwell, Arkansas, turn right and go to the end of the road. Honorary bearers will be Patrick Ragland, Dylan Ragland, Corey Springer, Chris Kendall, Matt Kendall, Mark Kendall, Craig Curry, Zach Kendall and Austin Kendall.
