Glenn Hogland Sr., born April 21, 1943, passed July 14, 2022 at the age of 79 years. He worked for C.L. Griffin Electric Company of West Memphis for many years and retiring with a master electrician license. He was on the Parkin Volunteer Fire Department and retired there as Assistant Chief. Glenn's latest accomplishment was with the City of Parkin as Code Enforcement Officer.
Glenn is preceded in death by his mother and father, Archie and Eula Mae Wilson Hogland; his two brothers, Leon Hogland and Kenneth Hogland as well as his sister, Joyce Bray.
He leaves behind his wife, Geneva Bailey Hogland; his son, Glenn Hogland Jr. and his friend, Stacy Casey; his daughter, Vicky Hogland and husband, Jim; sisters, Elizabeth Hogland Ashcraft of Colt, Arkansas and Pam Hogland Morris and husband, John of Biloxi, Mississipp; brothers, Carlos Hogland and wife, Peggy of Jonesborogh, Tennessee and Larry Hogland of Proctor, Arkansas; three granddaughters, Karen Baldwin Wilson and husband, Ed, Kriston Hogland and Hayley Hogland; his great granddaughter, Kaylee New; three great grandsons, Noah new, Chris Melton and John Wilson and his beloved aunt, Lois Wilson Carroll of Harrisburg, Arkansas. He was loved by all his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
The family kindly request, in Lieu of flowers, a donation to Legacy Hospice of Wynne, Arkansas.
Just want to say that I never knew him or got to meet him but always heard he was a good person. I'm so very sorry and sad that I had to find this.Guess things in life don't always go like it's suppose too! God rest your soul dad! Maybe will meet another day.ðŸ'"

I have known Glenn since I was 7 years of age and i have never met a kinder respectful male in my lifetime . So generous eager to help people . Such a great role model for younger people who lived in Parkin and Earle .

To Mr Glenn family,as Mayor of Parkin he will be missed dearly by all that got the pleasure of working with him.He was always caring and willing to help in anyway he could.We pray for the family in the days ahead and we will truly miss him.
I have known Glenn all my life. He was a very hard working man who loved his family and Parkin. I am thankful for all the years of friendship with him and his family. I know we will all see him again when it is our time to go to our heavenly home.
