I am Phyllis Byrum, widow of Don Byrum, who worked for L.D. when he had Kavanaugh Pharmacy in Little Rock. Both of us thought the world of him, even though we had not had any contact with your family in many years. May God give you comfort as you deal with the loss of this wonderful man. PBB
My first job was working with L.D. at Kavanaugh Pharmacy. I learned a lot from him. He has always been remembered by me as a dear friend. Mike, I am sorry for yours and the family’s loss of a dear father and grandfather. A good man who really knew how to serve people.
Going to pharmacy was never the same after LD closed his shop. He was a friend and someone we totally trusted. And funny as heck!
L. D. was such a kind and wonderful man. He helped me so much when I went through grief counseling after I lost my Bill. He was a blessing to many and will be missed.
Mr L.D. Was a positive inspiration to me and my family while being “our Pharmacist” at North Hills Pharmacy. He was a very special gentleman. Condolences to the family.

I’m saddened to learn of Mr. Horns passing. I worked for him at Kavanaugh Pharmacy in high school. He was truly a wonderful human being. Heaven has gained another Angel. RIP Mr. Horn.
We were so sad to see where our wonderful friend Mr. Horn had passed away. What memories we will have to cherish for the impact he left on our life. We shared a pew every Sunday for several years with him and He always had a piece of peppermint candy to give me every Sunday. I know he is rejoicing in Heaven today.
L.D. loved his children, grandchildren, and the Arkansas Razorbacks. I’m not sure it was in that order but he shared his passion about all. His kinds words will be missed by many. Lucky to have known him.
So sorry to hear about LD. He was a great man and loved by so many. Use to go to his drug store frequently and he was always so kind and cheerful. He will be missed by many. Prayers for comfort to Mike, Diane, Leslie and family. Donna (Harrell) Cox - (Martha's sister)
I enjoyed the stories of LD and my father’s one dollar bets on college games. Some how they always broke even. Our thoughts are with your family. Wilma Humphrey McBride and Terri McBride Crow
