Joy A. Ash, 86, of Desha went to be with the Lord on July, 4, 2022.
Joy was born March 3, 1936 in Donald, Oregon to Leroy and Edith (Griswold) Pruden.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a child of God. Joy was a member of Southside Assembly of God and enjoyed teaching Sunday school.
Survivors include one daughter, Sherry L. Seeley (Noel) of Desha; two sons, Johnny L. Ash of Salado and Roy D. Ash of Desha; eleven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren with one on the way and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Willie D. Ash and one son, Danny Ray Ash.
Pallbearers include Shaun Campbell, Ethan Ash, Isaiah Ash, Jordan Harder, Hunter Dildine and Michael Franks.
Graveside service will be July 9, 2022 at 10 am at Alderbrook Cemetery with Brian Ryals officiating.
Visitation will be Friday July 8, 2022 at 5:00 pm at Roller-Crouch Chapel.
