Danny Gene Stracener, age 64, of Pleasant Plains passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 2nd, 2022 at his home in Pleasant Plains, after losing his battle with cancer and the complications that come with it.
Danny was born April 2, 1958 in Harrisburg, Arkansas to Charlie and Pauline Stracener.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a hard worker who enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Teresa Stracener; his daughters, Christy Arnhart of Batesville and Carrie Stracener of Cave City; his grandchildren, Hunter Hawk of Pleasant Plains and Carys Stacy of Cave City; his sister, Judy Dulaney of Pangburn; his brother, Bill Stracener of Marked Tree and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 6th, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Flippo Chapel Baptist Church in Pleasant Plains, with Dale Crumb officiating. Burial will follow at Putman cemetery.
Flippo Chapel Baptist Church will host a dinner following the services for anyone who would like to attend.
