We mourn the loss of this good man. I knew Bob during my time at Bethel. He was a fantastic person and was beneficial to so many. I am a better person having known him.
Bob was a great and kind man! Bob and Eve had recently welcome my mother and I with open arms at the Easter Service. And, I will never forget how they dance at the fundraiser events. He will be missed by so many of us. My prayers are with his family.
I attended Lindenwood Christian Church many years ago with Bob and heard him speak about the Memphis Mayors Advisory Council for Citizens with Disabilities. He chaired the Employment Committee {1992 or 1993}. I immediately got involved, Bob was so inspiring about the work. Then we appeared together on an interview by Steve Hayslip, on Channel 3 TV, with Jim Futtrell. Bob helped me put together and promote an “Employers Guidebook to Hiring People with Disabilities†who I was one and had been all of my life "person with a disability." He taught me so many great things on how to be "whole" and have a disability. May the Lord continue to bless his family and may his work continue to bless others.
My deepest sympathy goes to Bob’s family and friends. He will be greatly missed. It was a pleasure to work for so many years with such a kind, positive, uplifting man. Prayers for comfort.
I am so sorry for your loss. Bob was one of my favorite people in the world. He will be missed by so many people. My thoughts and prayers are with Eve, DeAnne and all his children and grandchildren.
Mary Alice and family,
So sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I didn't know your brother but it looks like he left quite a legacy and he comes from a wonderful family. Love to you all.

Bob and I were room mates at Bethel - He was one of the best people I have known - I remember while we were pledging our fraternity, we were taken out at night and left to find our way back to Bethel - since Bob had limited eyesight, he hung on to my shirt as we worked our way back to Bethel - now that is trust -
Prayers with his family . . .
Sincere condolences to the family.....
Bob was such a sweet friend, He always had a great smile! I loved watching he and Eve dance! They were always the first out on the dance floor. Peace be with your Family!
We will miss you Bob Gammon. You were a first class gentleman and loved by your Grand Krewe of Ramet family.
Bob has been part of my family for over 40 years. He was an amazing Christian but also an awesome father, grandfather, uncle and a great friend! Our family will miss him eternally but I know he is dancing in heaven!
The retired faculty and staff of Craigmont High School, Memphis, TN, sends our sincere condolences to Bob’s family and many friends. May he rest in the sweet peace of God’s eternal love. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
I am just heartbroken. Bob was one of the finest men I had the pleasure of working with and calling my friend. We had lunch together for many years at Craigmont and enjoyed every minute of it. I was so happy when he met Eve. They had such a wonderful love story and my condolences go out to the entire family. May the lord wrap you all in his arms at this difficult time. I know Bob is dancing in heaven.
My uncle, Bob Day, was married to Eve prior to his death many years ago. Bob Gammon was a top-notch man, and a great southern gentleman. He was also a great husband to Eve. I've never seen a couple that were on the go as much as those two. They covered a lot of territory together and really loved each other. Bob's death was so sudden. I know Eve is in shock. May God be with you, Eve, during this sad time. You and y'alls entire family are in Donna's and my thoughts and prayers. May God rest his soul.
