I am sorry to learn of Lana's passing. We attended school together in Earle, Arkansas and I always held her in high esteem. She never shied away from telling eveyone exactly what she thought, and in this day and age of hypocrisy, I really found that refreshing. My condolences to the family..

Lana and I were friends for over 60 years. We communicated regularly. As good friends we knew each other’s secrets, our likes, dislikes and how we felt about important issues. I will miss her friendship, her love and advice.

Lana believed in Jesus and shared her faith with many others along the way. Though there were many bumps in the road she persevered.

Lana, rest well knowing you will not be forgotten.

I miss getting Lana’s texts. I keep thinking of things I want to tell her. She faithfully prayed for so many of us and always asked about my family. She scolded me when she thought I was working too hard.
