Sherly Moore, 76, of Jonesboro passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022 at her residence. Sherly was born February 26, 1946 to James Allen and Ruby Mae Painter in Jonesboro.
Sherly was a secretary for thirty years and retired from Jonesboro Human Development Center. She enjoyed cats, reading and gardening.
Preceding Sherly in death are her parents; husband of fifty years, James R. Moore and sister, Annalee Pfeifer.
Survivors include daughter, Angel Britton; grandchildren, Amanda Michelle (Hunter) Dunavant and DeAnna Moffitt (William Gean); great grandchildren, Sydney Harris, London Harris, Ana Marie Dunavant and Bella Gean; sisters, Evelyn (James) Johnson, Carol Tinsley and Shelia Maulding.
Funeral services will be Monday, June 20, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral home at 10am, with burial following at Pine Log Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Carey Pfeifer, William Gean, Hunter Dunavant, David Cook, Walter Johnson and Cameron Johnson. Serving as Honorary Bearer is Charles Tinsley.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday, June 19th from 3:00pm until 5:00pm.
