Dan was preceded in death by his parents (Alva Chester Stine and Elsie Edwards); his wife (Wanda Kay); brothers (Phillip, Herb and Sam Stine); sister (Naomi Ivey) and his daughter (Deanna Kay Stine).

Dan Stine is survived by his sister, Clara Waddel and his children; Daniel Stine, Donald Stine, Darla (husband Michael) Vines, Danita Stine, Dejuana (husband Sam) Pochman, Dara Stine and David (wife Tina) Stine.

Daniel Wayne Stine was born in Lafayette, Indiana in his home on November 30, 1941. Dan Stine lived a wonderful life filled with precious memories. He met his wife, Wanda Kay Stevenson, in church. They quickly fell in love and were married for 16 years before she passed away. They lived in Indiana together during their marriage, and the family moved after Wanda's passing to Arkansas in 1985.

Dan was an active member of the Yellville United Pentecostal Church located in Yellville, Arkansas. He raised all of his children in the church. His children and many of his grandchildren attend the Yellville United Pentecostal Church today.

Dan was an adventurous man who loved spending his free time outdoors. His favorite pastimes included: mowing, biking, camping, sledding in the snow and riding roller coasters. He loved traveling to state parks and often used his skills in photography to take pictures wherever he went. When he was younger, he enjoyed working on cars. As he got older, he loved having discussions about cars and motorcycles. His family claims he kept the Pepsi Company in business because his favorite drink was Mountain Dew. Dan also loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Daniel Stine's funeral will take place at the Yellville United Pentecostal Church on Saturday June 18, 2022 at 2:00 pm.

The burial will take place at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette, Indiana.

I was personnel manager at Marion County Shirt Company many years ago. It was such a pleasure to know and work with 4 members of this wonderful family (Daniel , David, Darla and Danita). My deepest sympathies to all of you; Mr. Stine was an inspiring man...as a Christian and as a Father.

Mr. Daniel had a smile every time I saw him especially around his daughter Deta. A favorite story I heard from her was of his trip to the Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado! My condolences and prayers.

It was a great priveledge to have met this great man a few years ago. My son met and married his granddaughter Rachel Vines. We have met the entire family and they ALL have that sweet gentle spirit as Bro. Stine. Looking forward to our great reunion someday soon. Our deepest condolences also from The Sanctuary Church.

Danny was always one of my favorite cousins, we sure had a lot of good times together, when we were younger. Danny was always a very kind and thoughtful man. He was always a hard worker, he will be missed by many. Me and Carol's prayers go out to all of Danny's family and friends!
