Linda Jones Ray of Southside, Arkansas passed from this life on June 13, 2022. She was born February 4, 1940 at home in Oil Trough, Arkansas to Clifford and Thelma Jones.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Batesville, Arkansas for fifty-seven years. She graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a degree in Home Economics. She was a four-time cancer survivor and a retired teacher from Oil Trough and Cedar Ridge Schools.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Kenda T. Ray.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Ken Ray; son, Brett J. Ray (Vonda) of Batesville; grandchildren, Will A. Ray of Benton, Austin I. Ray and Bekkah T. Ray of Missouri, Savannah Ray of Batesville; four sisters, Lavonne Mayes of Hot Springs, Deanna Lamb of Alexander, Arkansas, Brucene Hon (Charles) and Dorriese Butler (Dennis) of Batesville.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Graveside services will be at Oaklawn Cemetery on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 10:00am with Larry Poff officiating.

Dear Ken and Family,
I am saddened to learn of the recent passing of Linda. You and the family are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this time of grief and loss. May our Heavenly Father hold you close in his arms as during this time. I remember fondly all of our wonderful times together at Calvary Baptist Church so many years ago.

Ken & Family, you guys are in our thoughts and prayers. It was very obvious that Mrs. Ray LOVED her FAMILY!!!! We are saddened to hear of her passing. It was a blessing to have her as a teacher, and then a blessing to see her in town at her favorite restaurants. She loved to know how everyone's family was doing, and she was always inquisitive and caring. She will certainly be missed.
