of Jonesboro, AR

May 8, 1968 - June 7, 2022

Doug Hall, 54, of Jonesboro, AR passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at his home. He was born May 8, 1968 in Ripley, TN to Jim Hall and Barbara (Nichols) Linam. Doug worked for Home Depot as part of the Merchandising Execution team. He previously worked at ADT and owned Nostalgia World until retiring. He was of the Baptist belief. Doug was an intelligent, eccentric man with a love of photography and woodworking. There were a lot of personality adjectives that could be used to describe Doug, but boring wasn't one of them.

Doug was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother; a son, William Hall; a daughter, Meagan Hall and a brother, Scott Hall.

A celebration of life will be 4 pm to 5 pm Thursday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests lasting memorials be made in Doug's honor to the charity of your choice.

Doug,
It is so hard to believe that you are gone. You had just been getting on to me the day before for needing to go to the doctor. You were so funny to work with and to talk to and I'm truly gonna miss your smile and your laugh. Rest high sweet friend.

Doug, words can’t explain how much I am going to miss that loving bright smile of yours. Your positive energy will not be the same when I clock in at Home Depot. I’m really going to miss you. I’m going to miss the times you joke about my name. Yelling “come back Nikki!” down the aisles from the reference song Prince- Darling Nikki. Those memories of you telling me about glimpses of your childhood and your son will forever stay. I love you and I am very blessed to have met you while you worked at Home Depot. You will forever be missed. ❤️

Doug was a great guy. He always had a smile on his face. When Brenda Martin would bring her MET Team to the Batesville store to help out, my MET team got to know Doug a bit. What a sad loss for Doug's family and his Home Depot family. Doug's death caught all of us off guard and was really a reality check for a lot of us. Doug was only a year older than me when he passed away. Taken way too soon, but God is in control of all things. You will be greatly missed buddy!

Words can’t explain how hurt I am. When I got the call, I instantly stopped what I was doing because I just knew that I heard the wrong name or something. Working with you was truly a blessing. I’ll never forget how excited you were when your son was coming to visit and we began talking about the circle b smoked sausages on the grill. I’ll never forget the slick jokes and comments you would make and I was the only one who got it lol. Love you dearly Doug and you will truly be missed by me, Montez, and Nikki.
