Mrs. Ruby Joyce Whitehead, 84, of Lowell, Arkansas passed away Monday, June 06, 2022 in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born in Newport, Arkansas to Ted and Jessie (Boyd) Duggins. She was a teacher's aide for several years and enjoyed quilting, canning, cooking and playing cards. She was the glue of the family and loved them all, especially the children.
Ruby Joyce is survived by 3 sons, Mike Whitehead (Becky), Randy Whitehead (Delila) and Rick Whitehead (Karen); 2 daughters, Cindy Whitehead and Kathy Renode (Bryan); 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Eldon Whitehead; parents; granddaughter, Destiny Hicks; brother, Cecil Duggins and sister, Sibyl Haney.
A visitation will be held between 1:00pm-2:00pm on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the Norfork Baptist Church with funeral services to follow. Interment will be at Norfork Cemetery.
