Twanette Sinele Clark, 70, of Cabot, died Thursday, May 26, 2022.

She was born in Batesville, AR, on September 8, 1951, to G.H. Sinele and Mabel (Ford) Sinele. She was a graduate of Oil Trough High School and a student at Harding University in Searcy and Arkansas College (now Lyon College) in Batesville. Over the course of her life, she was an Assistant Editor at the Newport Daily Independent newspaper, a typographer at Diversitype in Little Rock, and a Copy Editor/Proofing Specialist and Publications Editor at CJRW in Little Rock.

She was a devoted and loving daughter, mother, grandmother (Mamaw), sister, and friend to so many. She was a fierce advocate and supporter of causes for children, civil rights and social action, disaster and humanitarian relief, education, the environment, health and human rights, and poverty alleviation. She loved rock and roll and folk music and passed her love onto her children. She was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan, especially football. She was a member of the North Jacksonville Church of Christ.

Survivors include her son: Walter Clark and his wife, Emily, of Cabot, AR; daughter: Dusan Clark and her partner, Jeff, of Dallas, TX; grandchildren: Bronwyn, Jonson, Abbigail (Abbi), Anya, Ainsley, and Addyson (Addy); brothers: Ford Sinele and his wife, Judy, of Little Rock, AR and Raymond Sinele and his wife, Beverly, of Flora, MS; sisters: Belinda VanDenburg of Mansfield, TX, Lucinda Hankins and her husband, Parmer, of Oil Trough, AR, and Teresa Long and her husband, Johnny, of Newport, AR; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 4 at the Oil Trough Church of Christ with Minister LeRoy Wood of the North Jacksonville Church of Christ officiating. The interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Chenal Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Paragould Children's Home or plant a tree in her honor. She would have loved that.
