Prayers for the family. Mrs. Webb was a great teacher. I will never forget the way she made me feel (special). I saw her, some years after she had retired, at a basketball game at Arkansas College. She was seated all the way across the court. We saw each other at the same time and she made her way over and hugged my neck. That was Mrs. Webb...I will never forget her.

I truly loved Mrs Webb starting in 4th Grade and took every class that she taught in Cushman High School. Betty and Coach were always special people. After I married Mike Harrison, Sportscaster for teams in and around the Independence County, Arkansas College, as we knew it then, became great friends of my husband. Coach and Betty would find him in many different gyms around the state and always made an effort to say something to him. Since I lost the love of my life Mike, last year, I have thought of them often. I knew they were living in Hot Springs, close to their beloved daughter Tracy. I was sad to hear of her passing because Coach and her name always made me smile. I am praying for Coach and family during this difficult time. Love you Coach and Betty always. Elaine Harrison.

Charles, Tony, Tracy, & Snook,
The Galloway & Sturgeon families grew up as practically 1 family. We lived near each other, worshipped together, traveled together, & spent holidays together. There were 11 cousins, Betty being the oldest. She was the first one to marry her college sweetheart & then she moved to Arkansas. She was full of life & loved to laugh. We enjoyed her visits home to school reunions & to see Aunt Ethel & Uncle Charlie. We had a great trip out west to visit the national parks & later our trip to NYC. She had a rich, full life & she will be greatly missed.

Growing up as cousins in what seemed like 1 family, the Sturgeons & Galloway’s lived close together, worshipped together, shared family Time & vacations together. Betty was the oldest of the 11 cousins & the first girl. She was also the first to date & marry & leave home. All the rest stayed in Owensboro mostly. We loved seeing her over the years & remember our trip to New York together & her visits for class reunions & to see Aunt Ethel & Uncle Charlie.
