James Anderson

of Vilonia, AR

April 18, 1976 - May 28, 2022

James "Moose" Anderson, 46, of Vilonia, Arkansas passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022. He was born April 18, 1976 to James Dewey Anderson, Sr. and Kathleen Jean (Cooper) Anderson.

He is preceded in death by his father and both maternal and paternal grandparents.

He is survived by his loving wife, Morgan, of 20 years; his children, Savannah Carolyne Anderson and Sawyer Cohen Anderson; mother and step-father, Kathy and Norman Scroggins and mother and father-in-love, Ronnie and Hilda Fraize. Also left to cherish his memory are his sister, Brandi Scroggins; brothers-in-love, Lance Fraize and Ron Bales and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Much can be said of Moose. He graduated from Dewitt High School in 1994 and worked as a truck broker for many years. He was a member of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. He was a hardworking, hard-loving, God-fearing family man that made no decision without his Lord and his wife. He was an active church member, loved the outdoors and nature. He was talented and his kids say, "Daddy could fix or build anything". Moose was a good man and was loved by all. He was a great husband, father, son, friend and neighbor. His presence in life will be felt and missed by all of those who had the pleasure to know and love him.

A visitation will be held for James at 1:00PM at Friendship Baptist Church, Wednesday, June 1, 2022, with funeral services following at 2:00PM.

Internment will take place at Crestlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Conway, Arkansas.

All arrangements handled by Roller McNutt Funeral Home of Conway.

Morgan and children. You are so right everyone loved Moose. I looked in the baptismal certificates I wrote our when Danny baptized someone and I found Moose was baptized at Unity M B cC in DeWitt while we were there it was in August of 1995. I know he will be missed but the moment he took his last breath he was in the arms of God. May God wrap you all with His loving peace and Glory. We love you all. God is good.
