Charles Stephen Westerman, (known by his family as Steve and known by his coworkers as Chuck) 67 of Pike Road, AL; (previously of Palmdale, CA) passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022 at his home. He also leaves behind his stepmother, Irene Westerman and a stepsister, Audra Sauk.

Services are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Uncle Steve,

Thank you for your inspiration. You always had such interesting things to do and talk about for an energetic and curious kid, who could also be a handful, like I was. I will never forget the late nights that often went into the early hours of the morning talking about anything from food and earth science to dark matter or even just playing really cool video games. We Westermans are hard workers and natural engineers anyone who met you would know that. Your memory will continue to live on in the kindness and good work you put into the world for generations to come.

You'll be dearly missed by all of us I'll never forget whenever my kids were little you'd lift them over your head they loved it and always wanted to go to Grandma Lewis's anytime you visited. I enjoyed our time at spring river going down in the tire tubes what a blast so many unforgettable memories with all ya'all cousin's days were a exciting and new adventures for me. Love ya see ya on the other side some day. Love Judy

He is as my brothers Charlie’s best friend. He ended up being all of ours best friend.
Although he never had children, he did! He gave made my brothers children, my children , his nieces and nephews children things that were impossible to give. All of us just don’t know what we would have ever done without him. He did more for us and our children than any biological father ever did. He was the most genuine human have ever met, and probably ever will. I will always have a place in my heart and I will miss him forever.
