George Clark, 92, of Osceola, passed away in Jonesboro on Monday, May 23, 2022. He was born on December 24, 1929 in Lake Providence, LA to Willie and Rosie Clark. He retired from Phillips Construction after 30 years of service. George enjoyed gardening, landscaping and helping others. He is survived by his daughters, Joanne Johnson, Dorothy Woodruff, Bobbie Johnson; grandchildren, Larry (Tiffany) Richmond Jr., Bronzie Richmond (Lorenzo) Mornes, Fredrick Tyler (Lencola) Johnson, Dominique (Dominic) Bass, Linda William Johnson, Tommy Lee (Cynthia) Johnson Jr., Tosha D. (Frazier) Dixon, Sean T. (Shana) Johnson; 33 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Willie Mae Matlock Clark; daughter, Georgia Mae Clark Lucas; brothers, Jesse Clark, Henry Clark, Linberg Clark; sisters, Willie Mae Williams, Mariam Clark, Elsie Dudley, Rosie Clark, Pearlie Lambert; son-in-laws, Tommy Lee Johnson and Aron Woodruff. A Visitation will be held at Roller-Swift Funeral Home in Osceola on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. The funeral service will follow at 10:00 am.

This is Pastor James E Williams of The Harvest Time Church in Wichita, Ks and I am a nephew of George Clark and I just want to say that I will miss my Uncle George, when I was traveling to Louisiana in my Big truck heading to Louisiana, me and my Uncle would talk on the phone and have a grand time and I cant thank God enough and I am grateful for those times.
