Mrs. Verna Rice Dickson, 89, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away May 23, 2022 in Mountain Home. She was born on August 31, 1932 in Buffalo City and raised by her maternal grandparents, Charlie and Mellie Smith. She was a member of Riverside Church of Christ in Gassville, loved fishing, dancing, animals of all kinds and spending time with her grandchildren.
Verna is survived by her husband, Sherman Dickson; son, Shane Rice (Sandra) and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Baxter Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Roller Funeral Home.

Verna was such a sweetheart.
We visited a lot at the Knights of Columbus playing Bingo on Mon.nites.
I ran into her a few times at Walmart and other places.
