Kim Belt, 47, of Conway, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022. She was born March 20, 1975 in West Memphis, Arkansas. Kim loved going to church, dogs, watching and riding horses, looking at lakes and rivers, being sung to, being held/hugged, peanut butter sundaes, eating in general, going to the park, sitting outside and being with and watching people. She had a very friendly and determined personality.
Kim is survived by her mother, Jan Fortney and step-dad, Alan Fortney who have devoted their lives to helping Kim have the fullest and happiest life she could have and spent a lot of time with her. Kim called the Conway Human Development Center her home for the past 29 years, where she enjoyed many activities, training classes, and had many wonderful friends and caregivers that she loved and loved her.
Kim is also survived by her grandmother, Helen Beebe of Conway, AR; her step-grandmother, Patsey Tarlton of Cove, AR; her step-sister, Brandi Caldwell, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends! Kim is also survived by her dad, Ron Belt of Batesville, MS.
A Visitation will be held Saturday, May 28, 2022, at 9:00AM, with Funeral Service following at 10:00AM, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, AR. Burial will be at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway.
May God be with you as you mourn and grieve the loss of Kim. She was a precious being here on earth. It’s amazing to think where she is now; her spirit with the Almighty.

What a lady she was! Vibrant and loving and such a presence in our hearts! Kim is so very missed! Kim is so very loved by all of us that helped care for her over the years. Thank you for sharing her with us!
Jan, words fail me at this bittersweet time. Kim was obviously so loved but no one loved her as much as you. I pray all your precious memories bring comfort and peace. You are continually in my prayers.

I help provide care for Kim for many years. When I first met her she was a young lady living in 13 Maple. I will always remember her smile, she had a beautiful smile. My heart hurts for her family but I know she’s surrounded by the beauty of Heaven.

I deepest Condolences. I had the pleasure of knowing Kim through CHDC. She called me Meme. She was a very happy lady, that loved her momma so very much. I know she is present with our Lord in heaven and keeping him laughing, as she loved to laugh here on earth. What a blessing to have known that sweet lady!

I am so sorry for your loss. Kim was such a sweet soul. I have been with CHDC for 5 and half years and had worked with Kim on countless occasions. She loved to come to the table and talk with us! She will be missed greatly. Prayers for comfort and peace during this difficult time.

I worked with Kim for nearly 9 years at Conway Human Development Center. She is someone that I have never forgotten. My condolences to Mrs. Jan Fortney and the rest of her family. I remember her just like it was yesterday.
