Maebelle Minick

of Little Rock, AR

July 19, 1941 - May 21, 2022

Maebelle Holter Minick left this earth to be eternally reunited with Juston, Saturday, May 21, 2022. She was a gentle, loving, faithful wife to Juston and the best mother that Holly & Sheri could ask for. A virtuous woman, she was patient, loving & kind to all that knew her. Her love affair with her beloved Juston was rare in this world & to be admired by all. It was very difficult to separate the two of them as they were perfect partners together. They were so very generous to family, friends & strangers that they met in this life.

Maebelle leaves behind a legacy of undying love in her girls, grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Maebelle Holter Minick was born on July 19, 1941, to Otho & Lucille Holter. She is preceded in death by her parents, newborn daughter Karen Sue & her husband of 59 years, Juston Minick. She is survived by daughters; Holly Minick Benham (Randy), Sheri Minick Handley (Trent); grandchildren, Felicia May (David), Lauren Clinton (Jordan), Abby Benham, Henry Handley & Juston Handley as well as 5 great-grandchildren. Maebelle was born in Little Rock. She attended Central High School in Little Rock and married Juston on March 11, 1960.

Maebelle lost Karen at birth in 1964 & always longed to hold and kiss her baby girl. Being a mother was the most important job Maebelle ever had. She was the consummate doting mother to her girls. She was Juston's partner in business at Min-Ark Pallet and his partner in founding Minick Enterprise. They were always together, best friends. Maebelle loved to travel with Juston as they went on multiple adventures on the road with the girls, showing them the USA and instilling a love of traveling by R.V. across the country. They always had great stories of their travels. One of their favorite places to visit was Colorado exploring back roads in one of the many dune buggies that Juston built. We know that Maebelle loved the Lord. She was a member of Toltec Baptist Church and was received in heaven by Jesus with Juston & baby Karen welcoming her with open arms, reunited with them and family and friends for eternity.

Visitation will be held at the Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at 10:00 am with a funeral service at 11:00 am. The entombment will be held at the Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, AR.

Sending prayers to the Minick family. We loved Maebelle. She was more than a neighbor — she was a friend, great listener and family. She showed us the best southern hospitality ever! We will miss her kindness and genuine love for people, fun and good food. I can see her smiling down on us now. Well done, beautiful❤️.

We each are so lucky to have shared our time on this planet with someone like our sweet Maebelle.
She was truly an angel on earth! She filled every room she was in with love and laughter! To Holly and Sheri and the rest of the family--We sure do love y'all and will see you at the end of next week. Fly high beautiful Maebelle! Give Juston a big ole hug from us down here.
