Glenda Crump, 79, of Harrisburg, entered into eternal rest, May 20, 2022. She was born February 20, 1943 in Dumas, MS to Herbert and Ruby Mills Kennedy. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and loved painting, sewing, flowers, grandchildren/great-grandchildren, baking, cooking and reading mystery novels.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Dewayne and Matt Crump; great-grandson, Christopher Crawford; brother, Thomas Kennedy and sisters, Betty Smith, Laquan Johnson, Dorothy Strickland and Mary Lou Strickland.

Left to cherish the wonderful memories of Glenda, are her loving husband of sixty-two years, Walter Crump; sons, Walter Earl Crump, Tyler Crump, Clayton Crump and Trenton Crump; daughter, Vickie Quinn (Herman Floyd); grandchildren, Justin Crump, Shauna Quinn, Carrie Quinn, Jessica Crump and Cody Crump; and great-grandchildren, Sophie Quinn, Lincoln Quinn, Lynx Crump, Pryor Crump and Noah Crump.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 3331 Hwy 163, Harrisburg, AR 72432, with Brother Kenny McMahann officiating. Burial will follow in Tyronza Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Herman Floyd, Clayton Crump, Tyler Crump, Trent Crump, Justin Crump and Earl Crump.

Visitation will precede services 1:00 - 2:00 pm at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue, Jonesboro, AR72401.

Glenda is my dad’s (Walter “DUB” Mills) first cousin. I have memories of her at various times. All wonderful memories. I just heard of her passing. My thoughts and prayers for all of you.

What can I say about one of the BEST AUNTS ever! You always made us laugh and I still love your swag walk! You have given me so many memories since I was a kid, I love you so so much!
