She and Lester worked together as a team starting in the late 60s when they bought their first restaurant in Mountain Home. They then moved to Bentonville, Arkansas to run a motel and later moved to Mobile, Alabama where they worked for Warren Properties as supervisors over apartments in Mobile and Montgomery, Alabama and Baton Rouge and Slidell, Louisiana until they retired in 1996.

Cheryl
Your Mom was a wonderful, kind Christian woman. I could never have repaid the kindness she & your Dad did by letting me & my boys live in their house rent free for ten years while they were working out of state. She & my Mom were as close as Sisters. She & your Dad were so blessed to have you to take such loving excellent care of them the last several years of their lives. I have no doubt that they are in Heaven making music with the Angels. I love you & my prayers are with you & all the family.
