James Kenneth Goss passed in peace on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the age of 88.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Grace Goss; daughter, Kimberly Lynn Goss, two brothers, O.J. Goss and Charles Goss; sister, Mabel Edwards and grandson, Kevin Payne.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Jeanette Goss of 64 years; sisters, Theda Ruetz and Barbara Ann Barnes; his children, Kenya(Rick) Fleming, Keith Goss, Karan Goss; 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Kenneth graduated from Dale Carnegie broadcasting school in 1956. He served in the Army from 1959-1962, ranked as an E5. In 1963 he joined the IBEW for 58 years. Kenneth owned his own heating and air company for 40 years. Kenneth was a 32nd degree Mason with Trinity lodge, as well as a Shriner. After retirement, he enjoyed traveling, making a garden, and hosting his annual backyard fish fry for friends and family.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home. A private burial is scheduled by the family.
