Patsy Paudert Catt

of Marion, AR

January 4, 1947 - May 1, 2022

Patsy Paudert Catt, age 75, was born in Decaturville, Tennessee on January 4, 1947 to Alvin Paudert and Margaret June Paudert. She was a lifelong resident of West Memphis and Marion, Arkansas. She graduated from Marion High School in 1964 and married her high school sweetheart, Joe. They were married for 55 wonderful years and they truly loved one another.

Following graduation, Patsy worked at several places but her true passion was working with her parents at their family owned business, Agricultural Aviation Insurance Company retiring in 2014. She enjoyed spending time with her church family, watching sports with Joe, socializing with her lady friends and reading. Patsy loved nothing more than her grandchildren and thought the world of each of them. She would do anything to support them, as well as others.

Patsy Paudert Catt was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Travis Catt, her father Alvin Paudert and her mother, Margaret June Paudert. She is survived by her two children, Patricia Elizabeth Holzer (Nicholas Christopher) and Joe Travis Catt Jr. (Tammy); her five grandchildren, Morgan Parton (Jordan), Micah Ceron (Eduardo), Conner Catt, Lauren Catt, Mason Holzer and one great-grandchild Laith Parton; her four siblings, Stacey Harral (Russ), Wanda Kern, Mary June Fryman, Alvin Thomas Paudert; and nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that a donation be made to the Marion United Methodist Church Building Fund or to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA).

Both Visitation and Service will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 beginning with visitation at 10:00 AM at the Marion United Methodist Church followed by the service at 11:00 AM. Patsy will be laid to rest after next to her loving husband at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion.

Patti Beth, I am just now finding out about your mom and i know what a big hole she has left in your heart and life...and not only yours but everyone she ever smiled her sweet smile on....I remember how I always loved being around her and Joe at ballgames when you and Lisa Sharpe, and my Ashlyn played...good memories. Cherish the legacy of good memories that Patsy and Joe made in your family's lifetime. Blessings. Ruthie (Dickinson) Garvin

Patti Beth and Jody , your mom and dad were 2 of the most special people we met when joined the Marion youth program. The loved they shared for each other just overflowed to everyone they met. They set examples for all young parents to follow in raising children. We are so sorry for your loss and are blessed to been called a friend of theirs.

I am so sad about the loss of Patsy. We spent many an hour at the ball fields together and struck a bond that could not be broken. My heart is comforted knowing that she was met at Heaven’s gates by Joe. When I think of “joined at the hip,” I think of them. We should all live with them as examples of the right way. We will all miss your dear momma, but we can rejoice knowing she is with your dad again,

Nanny is a very wonderful woman. I met her at the Netherlands when she and Pawpaw visited the Holzer family. She is a kind- hearted lady and she treat me like her own grand daughter. I remember the cross stitches that she gave me before. I will always remember you, Nanny.

Jody and Tammy,

I am so sorry for your loss. I wish I had words of wisdom that would comfort you, but I know those words probably don't exist right now. Patsy and Joe really treated me like family. Just like they had for so many other people in Crittenden County. She was a special lady with a heart of gold and an infectious laugh. You all are in my prayers
