James Arthur Wilkerson of Little Rock and formerly of Harrison, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Baptist Health Hospital of Little Rock, Arkansas. He was 85 years old. Son of Chester and Eura (Scott) Wilkerson, born on April 15, 1937, in Lead Hill, Arkansas.
Survivors include one son and his wife, John C. and Kathy Wilkerson, of Georgia; one daughter, Jane A. Wilkerson of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Michael, Amanda, and Kayla Wilkerson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents; wife, Kay C. Wilkerson; one brother, Lex Wilkerson; and two sisters, Nina Ruth Bolton and Lilly Jo Culver.
Graveside services will begin at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home with George Mitchell officiating.
Memorial donations may be made in his honor to Peel Cemetery, P.O. Box 63, Peel, AR 72668.
