She was born in Marshall, Arkansas on May 7th, 1930 to William Samuel Garrison and Bessie Myrtle Beavers Garrison.

Faith and family were Reba's passions. Her beautiful smile reflected the love she had for everyone. She will be greatly missed by those of us left behind but thanks to her legacy, and her salvation made available through Jesus Christ, we will see her again soon.

She was cherished and loved by her children, grandkids and great-grandkids.

Reba is preceded in death by her parents, William and Bessie Garrison; she was the loving wife of Vennie Thomas McInturff who passed away in 1992 and Allen Joseph "Frenchy" Thevenet who passed away in 2013; she was the last of her siblings which included, Theodore Roosevelt "Ted" Garrison, Clara Garrison Head, William Samuel "Sam" Garrison Jr, Preston Garrison, John Jackson "Jack" Garrison, Retha Nell Garrison Ferguson and infant, Lloyd Garrison.

Graveside services for Reba will be 2:00 PM Friday, May 6th, 2022 at East Lawn Cemetery in Marshall, Arkansas with Pastor Brian Mills of Trinity Baptist Church in Yukon, Oklahoma officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 till 2:00 PM preceding the service. Friends and family will serve as bearers. Jack, Becky, Mark and families; we are so sorry to hear of Aunt Reba’s passing but are encouraged by knowing she is rejoicing in Heaven. May you be comforted in the arms of Christ with the peace only He can provide. Mother isn’t able to travel and it’s a problem for me, too, at this time or we would be there with you. We’ll love her always and have such great memories. Elaine, Ken, Mother and family.

Reba was a beautiful soft spoken lady. V.T was my 2nd cousin. I visited them when they lived In Martin Box and in Little Rock, Also, visited with Reba after V T passed away. She was a great cook, and always made her guests feel welcome. The last time I saw her was at her class reunion at the high school in Marshall several years ago I talked to her and invited her to a Cypert family reunion before Frenchy passed away. She sounded so happy and was enjoying life. I had called and talked to her after the class reunion and she had reconnected with a class mate and they had been going out to dinner and movies!

My sympathy goes out to Jack and Becky and their families. I have wonderful memories of your mother's gentle voice, kindness and lovely smile. I remember her from my childhood at Martin Box and her warm welcome into her home when Daddy was hospitalized in Little Rock. Hers was a life well-lived.

Reba is my precious step-mother who was married to my daddy Frenchy Thevenet for 9 years. They loved and cherished their time together after both had lost their spouses. I will miss you Reba. You loved me unconditionally and I love you.
