June Marie Faith

of Searcy, AR

June 16, 1929 - April 16, 2022

June Marie Hubach Faith's love and zeal for life didn't come to an end with her death. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, June passed away on April 16, 2022 in Searcy, Arkansas at the age of 92. She was surrounded by family and the love of those both near and far. June's vibrant and energetic spirit touched so many lives, and we'll continue to honor her legacy by living our lives to the very fullest.

June Faith was born in Judsonia, Arkansas to George and Beulah Hubach. She was raised on a strawberry and potato farm, and believed that potatoes should be served at each and every meal.

The blue-eyed beauty won the prestigious title of Strawberry Queen. She met the love of her life and married at the age of 17. Together, they had two children, Jim and Ann.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to June. She was an excellent cook (her blackberry jam, turtles, fried chicken, hot water corn bread, and pecan pie were some crowd favorites!) an avid fisher, and loved spending time with dear family and friends with a glass of wine in hand. She took great pride in her garden and was well-known in Searcy for her beautifully landscaped home, dotted with colorful azalea bushes. During June's retirement years, many hours were spent with her husband, Marvin, hybridizing Louisiana irises, of which they won many awards.

She had an uncanny ability to light up a room with her positivity and boundless energy. Her sweet personality was contagious to everyone she met.

June had an angelic singing voice that would fill the pews at church with melody on Sunday morning. She held her deep-rooted faith close to her heart, and her church, Cumberland Presbyterian, was a place of great worship, community and friendship.

June is pre-deceased by her husband, Marvin D. Faith; son, Jim Faith; mother and father, Beulah and George Hubach; brother, Johnny Hubach; sister, Betty Catlett; and granddaughter, Thuy Epperson. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Howell (Gary); sister, Clara Turnbow; grandchildren, Jane Faith Brown, Christopher Epperson (Tyler West), Greg Epperson, Sarah Smith (Chad), Cristin Hendley (Amron), Chris Howell (Katy) and Melissa Williamson; great-grandchildren, Rachel and Lauren Epperson, Jack Smith, Sam and Sydney Williamson, and Garrett and Grayston Howell; and sister-in-law, Mary Garner, who was like a sister to June.

A deep appreciation and thank you to her loving caregivers, Nicki, Lorrie, and Cianna.

A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, April 21st at 11:00 a.m. at Roller Daniel Funeral Home on East Race Avenue. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cumberland Presbyterian Church or the American Heart Association.

I loved her generous spirit and spicy hot pecans. “June Marie” is my favorite bearded Iris. She had a long and full life. Best regards, Wendell Hall
