My friend Helen Calkin was a quilter. She was a wise woman who lived her life according to scripture: “Hatred starts fights, but love pulls a quilt over the bickering.†(Proverbs 10:22). She made me so many quilts! She even made me an Alabama Quilt! Roll Tide! She shared her wisdom with me and comforted me during my time as her pastor. I will miss her so very much. Peace. Pastor Deborah.
Helen had a long productive life. We missed her when she was not able to be at church and when she relocated to NW Arkansas but so glad she was near family. Rest In Peace.
David, I’m so sorry. Prayers for you and your family.
