Robert (Bob) Earl Underwood, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. He was born July 12, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio to parents Herbert and Alma (Wallace) Underwood and was the sixth of ten children. Bob served in the United States National Guard for eight years and had many other great accomplishments in life, including playing an instrumental role in establishing multiple companies.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Joy Toczik (Jim) of Mesquite, Texas and Delores Munyon (John) of Columbus, Ohio; two brothers: Doug of San Antonio, Texas and Walt of Mesquite, Texas; and grandson, Danny Clark of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Jean (Payne) Underwood; son Jeffery (Karen) of Wooster, Arkansas, two daughters: Jennifer Clark (Dan) of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Rebecca Swisher of Columbus, Ohio; four brothers: Herbert (Bonnie) of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, Donald (Joyce) of Garland, Texas, Albert (Barbara) of Lewisville, Texas and James (Ginny) of Commerce, Texas; sister Judith Sargent of West Jordan, Utah; sisters - in - law; Opal Underwood of Mesquite, Texas, and Ann Underwood of San Antonio, Texas, eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and Anne Evans, the mother of his children.

Bob and Jean were married September 19, 1997 and together, they built a life that they loved. Bob loved his children and cherished his bond with his brothers and sisters. Bob gave so generously to those around him, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he knew. His warm smile, firm handshakes, and gentle hugs emulated love and kindness. Bob was a member of the Colony Church of Christ and he will forever be remembered as a thoughtful, generous, and selfless servant.

Bob's family would like to extend their gratitude to all the friends and family who have prayed for and encouraged them in this difficult time.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, April 03, 2022 at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, Arkansas. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, April 04, 2022 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Colony Cemetery.
