Clyde Eugene Lampp

of Fayetteville, AR

April 22, 1941 - March 20, 2022

Clyde Eugene Lampp, 80, of Fayetteville passed away March 20, 2022.

He was born April 22, 1941, in Hillsboro, Texas to Raymond and Katie (Garner) Lampp.

Clyde was a fantastic father and grandfather who loved to work with his hands and loved going to auctions. He was easygoing and happy to help family and friends in any way. Clyde was a design engineer at White Rodgers for over 30 years and had three of every kind of tool and could fix anything.

Clyde loved his daughters so much he had his own estate auction and packed up and moved to Fayetteville to be closer to them four years ago. Even though it was tough to get rid of 50 years of collected tools, he did it for love of his girls plus as a new grandfather he wanted to be part of their daily life.

Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Barton (Nolan) of Cave Springs, and Jennifer King (Austin) of Fayetteville; five grandchildren, Zada Grace, Margo, Marybeth, Brooks, and Hudson King, as well as a niece, Theresa Bollinger, and a nephew, Michael Hall.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Cary Daniel Lampp; one brother, James Edward Lampp; and one sister, Linda Hall.

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 25, 2022 at 2:00pm at Kyler Cemetery with Bill Davis officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:00 until 1:45pm at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville.

For fifteen years, Clyde and I had lunch together and we were great friends. The last visit my wife and I had with him, we laughed and we also learned how he loved some little neighbor kids so much that he drove them to ballgames and shopping and bought them things. He was lonely and they were too. He was a great guy.
