Kenneth H. Gayler, 79, of Conway went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 14, 2022. He was born November 25, 1942 in Searcy, AR to the late Elwin H. and Icie Nelson Gayler. Kenneth was also preceded in death by his brother, Jackie Gayler (Shirley) and one niece, Brenda Gayler Layne.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Betty, one daughter, Angela Cotton, grandchildren, Shonda Cotton Brand (John) and Brook Bennett (Michael), great-grandchildren, Logan Cotton, Lucas Bennett, Emmy Brand, Olivia Bennett and Jaxson Brand and one nephew, Jeff Gayler.
Kenneth was a member for many years of First Freewill Baptist Church in Conway and served as a Trustee. He was employed at International Shoes and later at SAS in Conway as Plant Facilitator. Kenneth was an avid Razorback fan and enjoyed playing golf and hunting. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Kenneth will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be at 1pm Friday, March 18th with funeral services following at 2pm at First Freewill Baptist Church in Conway. Burial will be at Rosebud Cemetery.

I only had 1 Uncle and I am lost for words, as I will never recover from this but I am comforted knowing he with my dad and grandparents

Kenneth was more than our next door neighbor. He was a friend and family member that will be sorely missed. His family and friends will be in our prayers.

Prayers for this family. A family I have know since Kenneth & Betty married & knew him before they got married as he & I attended the same school. Such a precious family that loved everyone & God. We will see him again but hearts are broken for now. I worked at the shoe factory where Kenneth, his dad & mother worked & even rode to work with them some. Ken was such a kind and special man. He always made me feel welcome no matter how long I had been away. I will miss him dearly!

My friend will be missed at church. Although I know he is in a better place, I know that he cared for me and mine, and I know he prayed for me and mine. Lord please give comfort to his family and friends in knowing they will see him again.
