Helen "Nell" Turnbough

of Searcy, AR

April 6, 1933 - March 12, 2022

Helen ''Nell'' West Turnbough was born to Ervin West and Estella Barnett West on April 6, 1933 in Sidon, Arkansas.
She departed this life on Saturday March 12, 2022 at her home in Searcy, Arkansas.
She worked at Walmart many years before her health forced her to retire.
She was of the Pentecostal belief and before her health declined, attended Soul's Harbor Church.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of twenty-six years, Fred Turnbough; brother Bobby Joe West; two sons, Danny Noggle of Arizona and Terry Noggle of Searcy; four daughters, Cleta (Jimmy) Boyd, Vickey Sauceda, Tammy (Jimmy) Rigsby, all of Searcy, and Darla (Ron) Jones of Florida; seventeen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
We appreciate Absolute Care and her aids, Lori, Amber, Heather, and Rebecca who cared for her so she could be at home in her last two years.
Visitation will be Monday, March 14, 2022 from 6-8 PM at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 2 PM, with burial at Foster Chapel Cemetery Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 10 AM.

I knew Nell back many years ago even before she got married as the family lived close to me near Mt. Bethel (Turnip) Church. Prayer for the family as I am sorry to hear of her passing.

I’m so sad to hear this. I cared for her at Crossing. She was such a joy and always smiling. She was feisty and fun. She will be missed. Prayers for the family for peace and comfort.

I haven't seen her in so many years. She was the last surviving grandparent that I ever knew. I am so glad she isn't suffering anymore. Yet that doesn't help with the grief. God watch over everyone this lose has affected.
