Today we celebrate the life and mourn the passing of Juanita Louise Kimbrell Kelley. Juanita was born May 4, 1934 in Leslie, Arkansas to Doyle Guy Kimbrell and Abbie Edna Overstreet Kimbrell. She passed from her earthly life at noon, Tuesday, March 8, 2022.

Juanita married Denver Kelley on September 14, 1951. They celebrated 56 plus years together until Denver's passing in 2008. To this union three sons, Darrell, Danny, and Dennis were born. Denver and Juanita resided on South Mountain, then moved to Jackson, California for a short time, then back to South Mountain for the remainder of their life. Juanita was a dedicated wife of 56 years, a hard worker which consisted of 35 years at the shirt factory, a wonderful cook, gardener, and quilter. Many a days were spent in her kitchen canning from her garden or processing her own meat. Juanita was the testament of an admired wife, mother, mother-in-law, and Granny to us all!

She was preceded in death by her parents, Doyle and Abbie Kimbrell; her husband, Denver Kelley; great-grandsons, Hayden Charles Mathis and Baby House; and sisters, Mildred Freeman and Ruby Hulsey.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Darrell and Vivian Kelley, Danny and Pam Kelley, and Dennis and Sami Kelley, all of Marshall; grandchildren, Craig (Ashley) Kelley, Amber (Thomas) House, Justin (Tracy) Kelley, Amanda (Anthony) Mathis, Colton Kelley and Brooklyn Kelley; great-grandchildren, Dakota, Kimberly and Mason House, Camryn and Dylan Mathis, and Abby Kate Kelley; sisters, Margaret Laymon of Heber Springs, Edna Sitton of North Little Rock and Gladys Kimbrell of Conway; brother, Doyle Kimbrell of Conway; and many extended family and friends.

Funeral services for Juanita will be 2:00 PM Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Bill Derickson officiating. Special music will be performed by Cadie Hubbard. Visitation will be 1:00 till 2:00 PM preceding the service in the Chapel. Burial will be in Sulphur Springs Cemetery where Juanita will be laid to rest beside her husband, Denver. Pallbearers will be Dakota House, Charles McDaniel, Rob Woods, Aaron Reid, Clinton Cole and Jerrod Kimbrell. Honorary pallbearers will be James Hulsey, Gary Laymon, Steve Sitton, John Wayne Daniel and Randall Freeman.

I am so sorry for your loss. Juanita was a really hard worker. She did her job and did it perfect. She was one of a kind and one of the kindest ladies you would ever meet. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. God Bless each and everyone of you during this time.
