Max was my friend and my neighbor. He was a wonderful man and such a southern gentleman. He loved sweets , and I loved baking, he will be missed. I have often told Gail it's a good thing he was hers or I would surely steal him, I loved this simple man dearly.

Max lost a red bone off on the river one time , it came across Daddys place and I caught it and let Max know I had it , so he could come and get it , he promised me the pick of the litter for catching her when he bred her , best squirrel dog I ever had , I will miss him. Following that dog all over the country, gave me some of the best memories of my life . Thanks Max .
