Peggy Ann Walton, a native of Parkin, Arkansas and a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 18, 2022 at the age of 81.

Peggy was born in Parkin, Arkansas on May 2, 1940. She was a member of Ingram Boulevard Baptist Church. She worked several years and retired with the Internal Revenue Service. She was a friend. a daughter, a sister, a grandmother of 13, great grandmother of 9, a most beloved wife, and a mother extraordinaire of 5.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, John A, Walton, Sr., mother and father, Johnny Davidson, Sr. and Marguerite Peters Davidson, her siblings Johnny Davidson, Jr., Shirley Hamric, Marjorie Davidson, Janie Davidson, and just two days before her, Barbara Jo Cox.

She is survived by her children, John A. Walton, Jr. (Maureen), Donny Walton (Lisa), Lonnie Walton (Marsha), Jennifer Cullen, and Kevin Walton (Mary Anne), thirteen grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Seth Walton, Zachary Walton, Jordan Walton, Luke Valentine, & John Derrick Walton.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the entire staff at Landmark South of Baton Rouge, especially Aggie and Loredana, and Life Source Hospice of Baton Rouge, especially Craig. Your compassion, care and dedication was above and beyond.

Visitation will be held at Roller Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, Arkansas, at 1:00 p.m. Monday February 21, 2022, followed by a Chapel service at 2:00 p.m. Burial at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas.

I am sorry for your loss and mine too. Peggy and I had a long friendship and so much fun over the years that fills my memories now. One of them the cruise we shared. At 80 myself, my family doesn't feel comfortable my being on the road by myself, but my thoughts and prayers are with her beautiful family.
