J.B. Wootton, 85, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 in Paris. He was born on February 14, 1936 in Paris to his parents Tandy and Rebecca (Sebourn) Wootton.

J.B. worked many jobs throughout his working career including working in the oilfield, drilling water wells, operating his own dairy farm and later retiring as the Road Foreman for the Logan County Road Department. He attended First Assembly of God in Paris and enjoyed bee keeping, working in his garden, hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Eula Faye Wootton; one great granddaughter, Ava Elizabeth Rowe; six brothers and one sister.

Survivors include his children, Janice King and husband, Clinton of Ozark, Debra Rowe and husband, Roy of Paris, Doug Wootton of the home, Tracy Wootton and wife, Kathy of Magazine and Darian Wootton and wife, Sherri of Paris; one sister who is the last of nine siblings, Ruby Duncan and husband, Jack of Perryville; eight grandchildren, Nathan King, Brian King, Justin Rowe, Jeremy Rowe, Josh Wootton, Tandi Wootton, Aaron Wootton and Becca (Wootton) Koch; 15 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at First Assembly of God in Paris.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris officiated by Rev. Kenny Maness and Rev. Nathan King. Burial will follow in Moore Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Pallbearers will be Justin Rowe, Jeremy Rowe, Aaron Wootton, Tracy Wootton, Josh Wootton and Darian Wootton.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Logan County Road Department.
