Lorelei and I were second cousins once removed ... she was born and brought up in Arkansas and I was born and brought up in upstate central New York and we never met in person until 1998 when she and her Mom and sisters flew to the northeast to visit the area where her grandfather originated. Our grandmothers and mothers wrote letters back and forth so faithfully that we always felt like cousins! I was so happy and excited to meet Lorelei and then we kept in touch closer than before we met. She wrote beautiful letters telling about her family. I am saddened by her passing yet comforted knowing she is watching over all her family...rest in peace sweet Lorelei!
We are sorry to hear of the passing of Lorelei Warren. She and her entire family have been role models for both of us more than 60 years. She was a wonderful person.
My love to Lorelei's family. I worked in Relief Society as a Councilor to her. She taught me so much. She kept in touch through many years. I remember her daughter being in HS and when she started college. Lorelei was a humble, meek, filled with many gifts daughter of Heavenly Father. She brought much good into this world.

Sister Warren was one of my all time favorite Young Women's leaders. We all knew how much she loved her Savior and we knew how much she loved us. This continued through my married life whenever I was blessed to see or talk to her. I am so thankful to have had her be a part of my life. My condolences to her family. She was a wonderful woman and I loved her.
I have the most wonderful memories of Sister Warren. She was one of the kindest women and spiritual women I have known. I still have the cute animal rock she painted for me 20 years ago before I had a surgery. Everytime I think of her, my heart smiles. Prayers to all the family.
Gene, Donny, Steve, and Natalie, (and Loralei), Oh, how we love the Warrens. We could list hundreds of experiences and blessings that you have meant in our lives. We remember so many experiences if we even think your names of the love you showed each of us personally. Our children didn't want to leave your home because you made it so fun to be there. Although we lived in Carthage, we came to church in Joplin. I remember Loralei introducing Sonja Bodon once saying she wished she had an accent because she loved Sonja's so much. I immediately chuckled because she had her own unique accent.. Well, we loved your Arkansas accent dearly. We never ever were on her presence that she didn't have a smile on her face and her smile was beautiful. Thank you Gene for taking such tender care of her. We love all of you Warren's. Richard and Cathy Cunningham
My deepest condolences to the family. Fly high sweet angel.
Margaret, so sorry for your loss. Prayers for you all.
So sorry to hear. She was a great lady.
My love and prayers to Gene and family! Lorelei was a mentor and Mom to one of my best friends- it was a blessing to know her- to be served and taught by her and to serve and help her as she took care of her Mom! I treasure those days and memories . Heaven truly rejoiced to welcome her home! Til we all meet again♥️
Margaret, I tried to find a phone # to call you! I knew the minute I saw your sister's pic in obituary that she had to be your sister! You look so much alike! I want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers!!!
The most beloved family in JoplinMO ... Thanks for all the times you included us all for Thanksgiving or movie night. I can imagine beautiful Sister Warren being warmly welcomed in clouds of glory, encircled in ancestors' welcome Home... Keep loves banner floating o'er you....'till we meet again love you all, Kath
We met at the old building on Byers and our families were intertwined for many years. What fun we had… Thanks for all the love. I hope there's a picnic in Heaven so those on the other side can talk about all the great memories we have shared. Mom's birthday celebrations would not have been the same without you both. May the Lord bless and keep you all❣️
We were very sad to hear about the passing away of Lorelei. In our 60+ years of knowing you both, I must say "all good memories". Thanks for being great examples. Your are very special!
