Murray Joe Lauderdale, 83, of Mountain Home passed away on February 2, 2022. He was born June 26, 1938 in Enville, Tennessee.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years: Marion Fran Lauderdale; five children: Gregory A. Williams, Rodney L. Williams, Pamela D. Brewer, Paula Tipton-Healy, Phillip D. Williams; three sisters: Nita, Bobbi, and Mary.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Henry and Carrie Lauderdale; and one son: Dale R. Williams.
Murray married "Fran" in 1964 and soon after moved the family to San Diego where he was stationed. After retiring from the Navy as Chief Petty Officer, they made their home in Mountain Home. He loved his wife, children, home, gardening, and fishing. He will be missed by so many.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Roller Funeral Home with inurnment to follow at Baxter Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the care of Roller Funeral Home. Please visit our online guestbook at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com.
Murray was a great friend, a wonderful neighbor, and an awesome gardener. I will miss him. Praying for comfort and peace for the family. The wonderful memories of Murray that we all have will keep him in our hearts.

My wonderful grandfather. Life is so wonderful and your life was one of great adventure and great family. You are an amazing person and i thank you for being the most loving grandpa i could ask god for. You inspired me also to do volunteer work for the navy which i did for 20 yrs in your honor. I love you more than life and hope your transition into the next world is one of joy.
