Shelby Burns Floyd, 55, of Mountain View, Arkansas, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, January 28, 2022, at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. Shelby was born December 7, 1966, to Bobbie Ray and Annis Needham Burns in Batesville, Arkansas. She was a fur mother to many fur babies and loved her fur babies more than anything! She loved her family and friends. Shelby had motto: Bags packed will travel! She became quite the chicken farmer over the last year with help from her sidekick Woodrow, Gus and Woodrow would do the most for anyone anytime right or right at it.
Our family's rock was Shelby. Each one of us will forever have her with us and her watching over us.
Shelby was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Floyd; sister, Anita Louise Storey and brother-in-law, Doug Storey and her countless rescued fur babies she raised over the years.
Shelby is survived by her brothers, Donald Ray Burns and Tommy Weatherford; sister, Jessica Rowland; nieces and nephews, Dylan Burns, Derek (Mya) Burns, Haley Rowland, Alicia Hernandez, Tiffany Flores; seven great-nieces and nephews; and special friends, Kim Stake, Carol Stake, Ronda Bauer, and Penny Blanton.
Visitation will be 12:00 PM Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM with Penny Blanton officiating.
Pallbearers will be Dylan Burns, Derek Burns, Hailey Rowland, Kim Stake, Gabriel Hernandez, and Austin Blanton. Honorary pallbearers will be Casey Stake, Elizabeth Hernandez, Naylei Hernandez, Bianca Flores, Diego Flores, Victoria Flores, and Anthony Flores. Burial will follow at Flatwoods Cemetery in Mountain View.
Roller Coffman Crouch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Praying for all of you as Shelbys leaving will leave a big hole in your life. Shelby was always full of life.
Shelby you will be so greatly missed. You had such a sweet personality, and I never seen you without a smile. I know you are smiling from ear to ear now, because you had so many that you loved welcoming you home. R.I.P. my sweet cousin. You will be forever missed.
My heart is really hurting at this time for the family and my heart goes out to jessica,Donnie,And Tommy.Shelby was one of a kind. Very good hearted and will dearly be missed.May God be with this family on this day and may they try and find some piece in this. I will always have my memeroy of u and someday well see u again.
