Sandy Owen, 77, of New Blaine, Arkansas passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 in New Blaine.
She was born on November 1, 1944 in Bishop, California to her parents Thomas William Boatright and Florence (Alexander) Boatright. She worked at, Ernie Ball Inc. a guitar factory in San Luis Obispo, California; the pant factory in Paris and owned and operated Happy Times Childcare in Paris. She loved to spoil her grandchildren and go to yard sales, thrift shops, crochet, and play bingo.
She is preceded in death by her parents listed above; her husband of 34 years, James Owen; four brothers, Tom, Bill, Burrnie and Bob and her two sisters, Pat and Audrey.
Sandy is survived by her two daughters, Debbie Snowden and husband, Jeff of New Blaine, Arkansas and Michele Owen of Scranton, Arkansas; a step-son, Jim May and wife, April of Bakersfield, California; one sister; Reita Harris of Stanton, California; one brother, Donald Boatright of Klamath Falls, Oregon; eleven grandchildren, Jeffrey Snowden, Katie Harrison, Amy George, Megan Snowden, Katie Sarten, Tabitha Moore, Dakota Moore, Kaylce May, Jared May, Zachariah Snowden and Wyatt Snowden; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Moore Cemetery near Paris officiated by Rev. Kenny Maness under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Pallbearers will be Chris George, Branden Martin, Greg Harrison, Chris Russo, Zach Snowden, Wyatt Snowden and Dakota Moore.
I am so saddened to see this! She was such a sweet lady loved by so many! Rest Easy!
She was a wonderful and loving person who will be greatly missed.
