Juanita Mae Bryant

of Damascus, AR

December 18, 1939 - January 21, 2022

Juanita Mae Bryant, 82, passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on January 21, 2022. She was born on Pine Mountain Creek near Damascus, Arkansas, December 18, 1939 to Beecher Doyle and Macelee Jones Quattlebaum.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Oleta Faye MeGee.

She graduated with Honors from Southside Bee Branch High School in 1957, where she played basketball. She married Jimmy (Jim) Bryant in June of 1960 and soon thereafter they bought a farm where she and Jim raised beef cattle along with their two daughters. Juanita was a Christian, and a member of First Baptist Church, Damascus.

She is survived by her husband and two daughters; Patricia Denise Benight (Mark), Pamela Diane Nacke (Tim); one grandson, William Benight; nephew, Steve MeGee (Missy); nieces, Angela Triplett, and Jill Bryant; great-nieces, Lindsey Holtzclaw, Megan Clotter, and Sarah MeGee. She held a special love for foreign exchange grandsons, Takhir Ismailov, and Bo Sing Ng. Many cousins and a host of cherished friends.
Juanita began working at Baldwin Piano in Conway, Arkansas in the 1960's advancing to quality control and regulation supervisor, retiring after 34 years. She loved attending the Baldwin picnics and reunions and cheering on her favorite sports teams. After retiring, she attended Arthurs School of Cosmetology and operated a salon in Greenbrier. Along with her husband, she was an avid golfer and enjoyed the game at Cadron Valley Country Club, where she made many friends.

Known for her apple pies, her self-less, giving nature; Juanita exhibited strength, grace, and a true Christian heart in life as she honored her family and friends with her love and devotion. Her absence will leave a void that will only be filled on ''That Glad Reunion Day''.

The family would like to thank the Hospice Home Care team, especially; Jessica, Nalea, and Zoe for their tender love and care given over the past year.

Viewing will be at Greenbrier Roller McNutt Funeral Home Tuesday, January 25th, 10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.., with graveside services held Wednesday, January 26th at 2:00 p.m. at Spires Cemetery in Damascus with Bro. Freddie Mark Wilcox and Bro. Daniel Williams officiating.
