My heart is filled with sadness with the news of your passing. I'll miss our friendly chats and laughter about our adventures of the past. I'll miss visiting with you and driving with you during our trips to Arkansas. But I rejoice in the fact that we will meet again someday. See you then, brother.

Dana and Dave are more than just friends, we consider them family. I'll miss Dave and our chats through college football (yeah, yeah I know....ROLL TIDE) and NASCAR seasons. Dave was truly a good friend and defined how we should all live. He'll be sorely missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Dana and family.

We will miss Dave on the RTTL Z trips to AR. He was a special kind of person. He treated Tom and I so very nice the first trip to RTTL. We had to locate someplace during the drive so he dropped out of line and took us to the location. We were totally lost and he stayed with us until we were able to rejoin the group. He became a dear friend over the course of about 8 years. He will be missed by so many people.
Dana, I wish we could be with you tomorrow at his service I know it will be beautiful. We hold you in our hearts and in our prayers. Take care and God's love to you and your family.

It is never easy saying a final goodbye to someone who has been a part of your life. I first met Dave at a car club outing in the fall of 2006. He was a congenial sort, and we became friends. Through the years that followed we shared many adventures, good times and bad times, and miles and miles of winding roads. As sometimes happens in life, good friends drift apart, and that was exacerbated by my fast-tracked move to Virginia back in 2017. Nevertheless, the memories of the good times we had never diminished, and I will carry them for the rest of my life. Thank you, Dave. You will be forever missed. Dana, I am saddened by Dave’s passing and offer you my deepest sympathy.

David was and always will be a mentor for how to treat people, enjoy life, be loyal, trustworthy, and just all the qualities of a very good friend and quality person. I keep his voice, and spirit in my heart. Most of all, no longer able to drive in the tree-covered Arkansas roads with our convertible tops down, but next time I do, David will be with us.
