David Elidga Henry Sr., born April 29, 1932, age 89, went to be with our Lord and Savior on January 17, 2022. He was the son of Bert Henry Sr. and Jo Eddie Stone Henry.
He was a 32nd degree Mason, member of Sherwood First Baptist Church for over 50 years and served in the Korean War. He retired from the US Postal Service.
David was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Henry; sister, Dalene Carpenter; and brothers, Burt Jr., Joe and Fred Henry.
He leaves behind two sons, David Henry Jr. (Sheri) and Garry Henry (Marsha); two granddaughters, Tiffany and Crystal; two grandsons, David and Nicholas; and lots of great grandchildren; sister, Peggy MacElrath of North Little Rock; and brother ''Coach'' Carol Henry of Sherwood.
Graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M., on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Rest Hills Memorial Park.

My heart felt condolences to the family. I know this has been a tough time, but we will get through it. My heart hurts for you David as my father and you spent a lot of time together and you lost lost two great men just days apart. Thank you for taking time to visit my family while mourning your own father. Like my father, you're a great man who cares for others.
