of Omaha, NE
October 25, 1978 - January 13, 2022
Timothy Wayne Charlton, also known as Timbo, Bean and Buzzking by family and friends, died at the age of 43 at CHI Bergan Mercy hospital in Omaha, NE on January 13th, 2022, after a long but courageous battle against Covid.
Born and raised in West Memphis AR, Tim was a graduate of Marion High School. After joining the Army in 2001, Tim spent time in Germany and Korea, and was part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Tim was honorably discharged in 2007.
For almost 14 years, Tim greatly enjoyed his work at Southwark Metal, in both Southaven MS and Fremont NE. His legacy will live on in the knowledge he imparted on his team as a Maintenance Manager, and is shown through the company's on-going success. He will be missed by his Southwark Metal Family.
Tim is preceded in death by his Mother Gail Charlton, his faithful canine companion Abrams and his ''little ninja girl'' Kitty. Tim is survived by his wife Carey Charlton and their two cats, his ''buddy'' Raja, and his ''rolly pollie girl'' Lady. Tim also leaves behind his father David Charlton, his siblings Brandy Byron (James), and LaDonna Delee (Mike), as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
To say that Tim was a good man is an understatement. He is loved by his family, respected in his workplace, and valued among his peers, and his community. Tim was kind and had a helping heart. He enjoyed hunting, fishing with his Dad, and was a talented craftsman in wood working and metal fabrication. Tim loved to travel for vacations and day trips with Carey, and spending time with their cats.
Carey's personal statement: My life was changed and made better because of the love and support this man gave me for almost 12 years. I will miss his kiss, his smile, the way he laughed at my goofy jokes and quirks, and his helpful arms when I couldn't reach something high, or hold me for comfort. I am forever grateful and so blessed, for the prayers, hugs, messages, and over all outpouring of love and support you all gave us during this difficult time. Thank you and God Bless!
I would also like to acknowledge his entire medical team. This was not easy but, everyday, you all gave your 100[[][[]][[][%]]] and that's all I could ask. Thank you for everything.
Visitation: Friday January 21, 2022 at Roller-Citizens funeral home in West Memphis AR from 4-6pm with Military Honors at 430pm.
A Celebration of Life: Saturday January 22, 2022; 5-8pm Big Cypress Lodge, Ducks Unlimited Gallery, inside Bass Pro Shop at the Pyramid, Memphis TN. My prayers are with the Charlton family
Tim, you are the best brother in law one could have asked for and I'm so grateful for the 12 years you gave to Carey. There will not be a day when I don't think of you.
Tim's legacy lives on through through the humorous stories and memories Carey has shared with her work family, and we're sure many that were unable to meet him still feel like they knew him. We are all sending love, and prayers to Tim's loved ones and are so very sorry for your loss. We hope for comfort in knowing there is a celebration in heaven and that he waits for you there.
I am praying for you, Carey.
Bless Tim! He was one of the truly good ones. Although I rarely saw him I will miss him. The world was better with him in it.

Praying for the family.
As the article stated, Tim was held in high regard in our company. He was always quick to respond and help me anytime I was in need of either guidance or was in need of a hard to find spare part. He will be greatly missed by many.
