Charles Frank Latta, age 61, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022, in Springfield, surrounded by his family. He was the son of Frank and Susann (Mieger) Latta, born on October 23, 1960, in Redding, California. He was preceded in death by his wife, Andrea (White) Latta; his son, Wade Kancilia; his father, Frank Latta; his brother, Andy Latta; his nephew, Thomas Latta; and his niece, Angel Latta.
Charles is survived by his mother, Susann Latta, of Springfield, Missouri; his daughter and son-in-law, Destiny and Ethan Hand, of Springfield, Missouri; and his sons, Derrick Latta of Lawrence, Kansas, and Dustin Champagne of Harrison.
Charles is also survived by his granddaughter, Sophia Alexander, of Springfield, Missouri; his brother, Leslie Latta, of Springfield; his sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Mark VonLatta, of Sanford, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. Charles was loved by many and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Graveside service will be held, Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 11:00 AM, at Maplewood Cemetery, with Sharon Muse officiating.

Chuck has been a friend of mine for over 40 yrs he was a great guy and will be missed by all. He and his family would always stop by my office to visit when they came to town. I have a lot of memories of Chuck and his dad Charlie, we laughed together cried together and went through a lot. He was the only person that could mow my lawn and it was perfect every time. Go to your reward now RIP dear old friend.
