Dear Tonya, I feel so sorry about the death of aunt Irene! It must be very hard for you having lost your mom! I‘m also very sad. I appreciated her a lot! For her it must be wonderful to be with Jesus now. But for you and for us, especially Elsbeth, it is a big loss!
I wish you and your family much strength.
Much love!

We send our condolences to you Tonya and Darryl at the loss of your mother. Having been a member at the church where she attended with your dad for so many years she was in the shining example of quiet faith not flashy or showy but you knew she always was willing to pray for you or talk to you if you needed a listening ear. She was a kind person and she will be missed very dearly. I am so grateful that she was able to be with you during her last few years. And now she is reunited with her sweet husband Don who we also miss very much our prayers are with you at this time . Jennifer and Shawn Goshow

While I am saddened to hear of Irene's passing, I am happy to know she is once again reunited with Don. So many times I would ask her how she was doing and her response was always how much she missed him. They were such God loving people to know and call friends. Our church was blessed to have them. Rest in peace, Irene and give Don a hug from me, Love you both.

Irene was a very sweet person. We were in Sunday School together at Christ Community Church. We were also in church together, both in Syracuse NY. I will miss her.

While this news is heartbreaking, I'm rejoicing that Irene is now with her Savior and the husband she loved so much. She often popped into my Sunday School room on Sunday mornings before classes started, and was such an encouragement. She was a tremendous prayer warrior. One of the last times I saw her, she gave me one of Don's wood carvings. I treasure it. She will always have a place in my heart.

What a sweet woman of tremendous strength and faith! Don and Irene were two of our favorite people at Immanuel Church of the Nazarene. They always were supportive, kind and the true definition of a believer in Jesus Christ. I am sorry to hear of Irene’s passing but we celebrate in knowing she is reunited with Don. Thinking of you all.
