A much-loved mother and grandmother, Linda Ann (Maxey) Johns, 73, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed from this life on January 5, 2022 at her home in Mountain View, Arkansas. Linda was born on February 19, 1948 in Leslie, Arkansas to the late Dewey and Lue Vena (Harris) Maxey. Linda was a great cook and avid baker and worked at numerous restaurants in the Marshall area until her health no longer allowed her to continue. Although, anyone who knew her would tell you that her two greatest pleasures in life were going to the casino and playing bingo. Her strong presence will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
Linda is survived by two sons, Matthew Johns and Larry Johns; one daughter, Karen Watson. Nine grandchildren; Ericka and husband Steven Harvey of Clinton, Adam and wife Ashlee Watson of Russellville, Jacob Johns of Fayetteville, Jayden Johns of Conway, Jeremy Meier, Chris Meier, Ada Johns, Adaline Johns, and Tobias Johns, all of Marshall. Nine great-grandchildren; Lilie, Leighton, Braylen, Hadley, and Amanda.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Lue Vena (Harris) Maxey; one daughter, Wanda Loggins; one infant son, Christopher Douglas, and one brother, Larry Maxey.
A visitation in lieu of a funeral will take place on Saturday January 15, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. at Assembly of God Church in Leslie, Arkansas with Brother Baysinger in attendance. Linda will be laid to rest with her loved ones at Red Hill Cemetery.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the cremation.

Karen, Larry, Matthew, I am so sorry for your loss. A long time ago for a short period of time we worked together (Wanda and Karen too) at the Sunset Restaurant, those days were fun! That is what I think about when I remember your mom, I hope you guys also think of the good times. Praying for peace and comfort for you all.
