Gregory J. Neumeier, 87, a resident of Park Hills, Missouri, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022, at his home.
He was born March 12, 1934, in Paris, Arkansas to the late Paul and Regina (Klein) Neumeier. Gregory served in the United States Army. After his military service, Gregory spent his working career with the Veterans Administration as an IT supervisor. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Farmington, Missouri.
In addition to his parents, Gregory was preceded in death by three brothers, Norman, Bill and Ronnie Neumeier and a sister, Marcia Neumeier.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Dolores (Brown) Neumeier of Park Hills, Missouri; two sons, Craig Neumeier of Chicago, Illinois and Brett Neumeier of St. Louis, Missouri; a daughter, Rachel Neumeier of Park Hills, Missouri; two brothers, Don Neumeier and wife, Delores of Altus, Arkansas and Raymond Neumeier and wife, Dorothy of Paris, Arkansas and two sisters, Rita Nehus and husband, James of Paris, Arkansas and Rosalia Rainwater of Paris, Arkansas.
Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, January 9, 2022, St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris, Arkansas.
The funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 10, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris, Arkansas with Fr. Erik Pohlmeier officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Paris, Arkansas under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Pallbearers will be Jason and Kevin Pohlmeier, Nick, Kurt and Bernard Neumeier and Casper Nehus.
So sorry. My whole family will miss Greg so much. He was a good man.

My sympathy to Raymond and Dorothy, Rita, Rosalia. Sharon and Tom and the remaining members of Mr. Neumeier's family. He has come full circle - born in Paris and now coming home for his earthly remains to rest.
