of Marion, AR
April 27, 1972 - December 30, 2021
Edward Alonzo ''Al'' Bailey, age 49, was born in Newport News, Virginia on April 27, 1972 to Richard Calvin and Cheryl Ree Bailey. He was a lifelong resident of West Memphis and Marion, Arkansas, graduating from West Memphis High School in 1991. Edward passed away unexpectedly on December 30, 2021.
As an owner operator, he drove commercial vehicles his entire adult life and was recently employed with KTI Trucking in Marion, Arkansas. When not at work Al could often be found with his family camping at Greers Ferry Lake. Camping was his favorite thing to do other than going to any car show that was in the area and spending time with his family. He was just like any other Bailey family member, he was a ''Jokester'' and was always causing a laugh. Al was a faithful member of Restoration Life Church in Marion which was a very important part of his life.
Al is survived by his parents Richard and Cheryl Bailey of West Memphis, his loving wife Rockel of Marion, his three sons; Jonathan Bailey (Kelsey) of Marion, Hunter Bailey of West Memphis, Bryson Taylor of Marion and his daughter Onica Beier (Austin) of West Memphis and his brother Tony Bailey (Kristi) of Marion. He will be deeply missed by his four grandchildren; Cody Bailey, Elizabeth Bailey, Emily Bailey and Waylon Beier as well as his niece Kyndell Bailey and nephew Dylan Bailey.
My condolences to the family. I miss those childhood memories in Horn Lake.
Dear Rockel,
We are sorry for your lost. He was clearly a good husband, father and friend. I’ll always remember him sitting outside across our street. Being a good friend to Randy, always there to listen. Wishing you peace during this difficult time.
Always remember your family and friends are there to lend a helping hand.

AL was one of a kind and was always a joy to talk to when we worked together.
Alonzo and I didn't spend much time together as adults but as kids we would spend time in Mississippi at Papaw Bailey's house. Together we always had fun and might have got in trouble a time or two. Bailey's go figure. My heart is saddened for everyone's lose.
