Max Allen Wright, age 76, of Harrison, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021, in Harrison. He was born January 2, 1945, in Springdale, Arkansas, the son of Roy and Bertha (Armstrong) Wright. Max was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Carryl Wright; two sisters, Helen Armstrong and Virginia Porter; and one daughter, Minda Michelle Wright.
Max was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was of the Methodist faith. He was a salesman in the industrial manufacturing industry. He was the President of ECOM.
Max is survived by his loving wife, Terri (Flanigan) Wright, of the home; his sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Rebecca Wright, Chip and LaVonda Wright, and Derek and Jessica Wright, all of Springdale, Arkansas; his sister, Jeanette Atkins, of Little Rock, Arkansas; his three grandchildren, Hunter, Hayden, and Khloe; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; a host of dear friends and colleagues around the United States and one blessing on the way, Fletcher Thomas.
The graveside service was Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Maplewood Cemetery, with Mr. Colby Fulfer officiating.

Max was a great guy and would do anything for you. He loved to make people laugh. I have memories of being in band with Max.

Max and I met in second grade at Lee Elementary in Springdale. We were always getting into trouble. We once tossed marbles into a Poison Ivy patch, then told some first graders that some one had lost their marbles, over there. The next day a bunch of boys had to stay home. We were in Boy Scout troop 107. In SHS band, both playing Trumpet, for many years. The sawed off shot gun that Max and I cherished as early teens is now at Shiloh Museum. Too many wonderful memories. Ever time I visited Max at Somerset when I left I always told him, " I love you Max Wright", and Max replied, I love you too Jimmy McNally."

I worked with Max for 30 years and we became close as brothers. He was the most entertaining man I have ever known. His humor would turn a sales meeting into a laughing fest. I truly loved Max as a brother and will cherish the many memories of our time together. Just want you to know we are thinking of you all and wanted to share a sweet memory provided by Max & Terri. Danny & I were invited to see “The Triplets “ (Moncrief, Brewer & Delph) & other special Razorbacks at NAC, along with other Bergman friends. Being an avid Razorback fan I was elated & thrilled by their sweet invitation. They made my day as I’m sure they have done numerous times for others.
